Six killed in road mishaps in Raj

Six persons, including a father-son duo, were killed and one person was injured in separate road mishaps in Kota and Bundi districts, police said today.

Bhawani Shankar Mali (22) and his father Chotmal (50) were killed after the motorbike they were riding on rammed into a stationary tractor trolley from behind last night on Kota-Lalsot mega highway near Gamach railway crossing gate, police said.

No case was lodged in this connection as the family members did not want any police action, he added.

In another road mishap, Rakesh Meena (32) and Satayanarayan Soni (62) were killed while one Prabhulal Dholi sustained minor injuries after the motorbike they were riding on collided late last night against a truck on Kota-Jhalawar highway, police said.
 

In third road mishap, Ramlaxman Meena (38), a resident of Saptija in Bundi district, was killed after his motorbike rammed into a tractor under Talera police station last night, police said.

In another incident, Ram Kumawat (22), a resident of Lankagate area of Bundi city, was killed after the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a speeding truck from behind near Chaterpura linking road on Kota-Jaipur highway, police said.
