Six killed in two accidents

At least six persons, including two women, were killed and 25 people were injured in two accidents in Assam's Kamrup district today.

According to police three persons, including a woman, were killed on the spot when the tempo they were travelling in collided head-on with a speeding truck on NH 37 near Boko police station.

In another accident, three persons, including a woman, died on the spot and 25 others were injured when a bus hit a dumper on the NH 31 near Changsari police station this afternoon.

Police said the injured have been shifted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital.
