Six men have been arrested in connection with the sensational robbery at DBG Road area in Central Delhi last week when two Mumbai-based jewellers were robbed of diamond jewellery worth more than Rs 1 crore, police said today.
The six men, identified as Harcharan Singh (22), Satender Pal Singh alias Prince alias Fraudy (24), Ravinder alias Babloo (24), Harpreet Singh alias Hunny alias London (21), Ashok Kumar (40) and Tarun Adhikari (29) were arrested by Crime Branch team led by DCP Kumar Gyanesh on Sunday after a tip off that they would assemble in Karol Bagh.
Stolen jewellery worth Rs 20 lakh, two motorcycles used by them for committing the robbery and a Skoda car have been seized from them. Other than that, three expensive smartphones purchased from the booty of the crime have also been seized.

The incident took place at around 8:45 PM on May 15 in the congested area of Desh Bandhu Gupta Road when two Mumbai-based diamond merchants traveling in a car were intercepted near Liberty Cinema by bike-borne assailants.
Two of the miscreants got down from the motorcycles and one of them broke the window shield of the vehicle. After assaulting the occupants of the car, they took away the bag containing jewellery and cash at gun point before fleeing from the scene.
During sustained interrogation, it was revealed that apart from being involved in this robbery, they had committed another robbery of a Delhi based jeweller, police said.
"On April 20, in Maurya Enclave area, they had intercepted one Karol Bagh-based jeweller near KU Block, Pritampura when he was about to board his vehicle. They threw chilli powder on his face, assaulted him with the butt of a weapon and then decamped with his bag containing jewellery," said Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ashok Chand.
