Six Nepalese nationals, who had allegedly committed a series of burglaries, including an attempted bank heist in Central Delhi have been arrested by the police.
The accused, identified as Ram Bahadur (27), Ram Singh (28), Padam Thapa (35) and Dal Bahadur (32), the mastermind of the gang were arrested on Friday from Kailash Nagar in East Delhi following a tip off by the Special Staff of Central district.
Two more associates of the gang Ratan Bahadur Shah (33) and Man Bahadur (34) were also arrested later. All these people are residents of Nepal.

On that night, the burglars had made a failed attempt to break the door of the strong room of the bank. Two persons were captured in CCTV Camera installed in the bank.
During investigation, a tip off was received on Friday that those involved in the burglary would come to Kailash Nagar, East Delhi following which a trap was laid and the four accused were nabbed.
"When the CCTV footage of the two men who had entered in the bank was tallied with those arrested, it was found that accused Ram Bahadur is the same person who had attempted to break the bank's safe," said Kumar.
"All the accused belong to Nepal. They targeted shops/offices, where they would do reccee during the day. Thereafter they committed robbery in the night. They further revealed that they along with their accomplices have committed this crime and several other burglaries in the area of Delhi", he added.
At their instance, Ratan Bahadur and Man Bahadur were also arrested. One accused namely Sunil Chaudhary is still absconding. Dal Bahadur is the kingpin of the gang who had planned this burglary.
On verification, it was found that accused Dal Bahaudur has also previously been involved in six cases of house burglary in various areas of the national capital, police said.
Police have recovered Rs 16,440, house breaking equipments and two bunch of keys from the possession of the gang members.
