Six of a family, including four children, in Nepal died of food poisoning while 20 others fell ill in a village.
62-year-old Sanja Bahadur, his daughter-in-law and four grandchildren died yesterday after they consumed chappatis, apparently made from pesticide-laced flour, in Pukun village of Dhading district, 70 km west of Kathmandu, police said.
Two others of the family fell ill and are undergoing treatment in a hospital.
About 20 people in the village fell ill after eating chappatis made of the flour.
