Six persons of a family have been booked in a dowry case in Palwal area.
A case was registered against six persons of a family, for allegedly harassing a woman for dowry, following a complaint by the victim's brother in Palwal area here yesterday, police said.
As per the complaint, the family, including the woman's husband Vishnu, were demanding Rs 5 lakh in cash, a motorbike, and gold jewellery as dowry, they said.
The accused had also threatened to kill the victim if the demands were not met, police said.
The police added that probe was on in the matter and no arrests have been made so far.
