Six members of a family were killed today in a road mishap near Mathuranthagam, police said.
The incident took place when a lorry hit their car from behind and it collided with the rear side of a bus running ahead of them.
Four persons died on the spot and two of them succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital, police said, adding the victims hailed from Gingee.
