Six persons were injured and some passengers missing after a vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down into river Chenab on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district today.
The passengers were on way to Srinagar when the mishap took place, a senior police officer said.
He said that six injured passengers were rescued and taken to hospital.
Some other passengers, who were travelling in the vehicle, are missing, he said adding the exact details are not known.
Five passengers are believed to be missing in the mishap.
