An elderly man, identified as Ganga Ram, was killed after he slipped from a mountain top and fell into a deep gorge in Darmadi area of Reasi district yesterday, police said.
In two separate incidents, Mohan Lal(58) and a six-year-old child received serious burn injuries in fire incident triggered by short circuit and blast of a stove in Bishnah area of Samba district yesterday, they said.
The victims, who were rushed to GMC hospital in Jammu, later died during the treatment.
Sachin Kumar(24) died of electrocution in Chatta area of Jammu, while the body of Rahul Kumar(25), a teacher by profession, was recovered from a local nallah in Rajpura belt of the city last night, they said.
In another incident, 23-year-old Babul Kumar allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substances at his residence in Samba belt, police said.
Cases have been registered in all the cases and further probes are on, they added.
