Six persons were killed and several injured after the bus they were travelling in overturned at Gopalpur chowk here, police said.
The driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle after which the bus overturned. Six occupants died on the spot while about two dozen passengers sustained injuries, Bochha police station in-charge Dhananjay Sharma said.
The bus was headed to Madhubani district from Delhi.
"The condition of some of the passengers are serious," Sharma said.
"The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital," the officer said.
