Trinamool Congress leader Mukul Roy today claimed that six of their party workers were killed ever since the West Bengal Assembly election was announced.
The onus of maintaining law and order was in the hands of the Election Commission during poll time and as such it needed to increase the voter confidence, he told reporters after meeting Chief Electoral Officer Sunil Gupta.
"Six of our workers have been killed. They need to increase level of voters' confidence. One of our offices has also been burnt," he said.

He threatened that next time if there was a murder again they would bring the dead body to the CEO's office as law and order was the responsibility of the poll watchdog now.
Roy claimed that no worker of other parties have died in this election season.
"We want people to vote without fear. We will win by two-thirds majority," Roy said.
