Six tourists from Maharashtra were today injured in Kaimur district of Bihar when a bus in which they were travelling hit a stationary truck on the Grand Trunk Road (National Highway 2), police said.
The incident occurred in the early hours this morning near Rehua village and the tourists were travelling in a tourist bus registered in Maharashtra, they said.
Durgawati Station House Officer Shriram Singh said three of the seriously injured tourists have been referred to Varanasi for better treatment, while the other three have been admitted to a sub-divisional hospital.

The SHO said that the bus driver lost control of the vehicle and hit the truck at high speed.
The bus has been impounded by the police.
