Six youths were today arrested on alleged charges of chain-snatching and loot, and country-made firearms along with some stolen items were recovered from their possession, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, Crime Branch and Bara police team nabbed the accused from near Santoshi Mata Mandir after a brief chase, SSP Shalabh Mathur said, adding, two country-made firearms, 15 mobile phones, jewellery, and cash was recovered from them.
The six, identified as Utkarsh (19), Shivam (20), Sumit (20), Abhishek (20), Kishan (21), and Rahul (25), confessed to having carry out several loots across the city for fulfilling their luxurious hobbies, he said.
