Domestic textiles player Siyaram Silk Mills' net profit remained almost flat at Rs 32.05 crore for the quarter ended March 31, as its higher income from operations was offset by increased expenses.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 32.14 crore during the year-ago period.
Siyaram Silk Mills' net income from operations stood at Rs 504.92 crore during the January-March period, as against Rs 479.95 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The company's total expenses stood at Rs 455.24 crore, higher than Rs 431.57 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing.
Siyaram Silk Mills' scrip closed at Rs 1,058.50 on BSE, down 4.16 per cent from its previous close.
