State-run SJVNL today announced signing two initial agreements with Hindustan Salts Ltd and Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Ltd.
"A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hindustan Salts to conceptualise, structure, implement, operate and maintain the ultra mega hybrid renewable energy (solar & wind) park at salt pan land in Kharaghoda, Gujarat has been signed," SJVNL said in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges.
"A MoU with Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments to develop solar power plant of about 2 MW capacity at Kotla, Himachal Pradesh and other places in the project area of SJVNL," the regulatory filing said.
Shares of SJVNL closed 1.22 per cent up at Rs 24.80 on the BSE.
