SLCM, MCX resolve dispute over storage of mentha oil

Commodity exchange MCX and Sohanlal Commodity Management (SLCM) today said they have amicably resolved their dispute over the storage of mentha oil at the latter's warehouses.

In a joint statement both the companies said that mentha oil could be lifted now for delivery on the MCX platform.

MCX and SLCM have amicably resolved their differences on the terms of continued storage of mentha oil stock at SLCM warehouses, the statement said.

MCX and SLCM are committed to resolve any outstanding issues, it added.

"...in the meantime there will be no hindrance or impediment in lifting of mentha oil stocks from SLCM warehouses or the deliveries thereof on the MCX Exchange platform as per MCX circulars," SLCM said.
 

The statement did not provide any details about the dispute between the parties.
