Bringing vignettes of contemporary Bengali culture to the diaspora in US, the Gen Y's singing icons performed in Cincinnati Ohio as the new gen 'Probashis' swooned at Banga Mela 2014.

Making stage debut in the land of umpteen rags-to-riches stories, Chandrabindoo frontman-music composer-lyricist-editor Anindyo Chatterjee said, "This can be called a debut as three year is a long time."

"We will be leaving for San Diego from here. The atmosphere here is just electrifying. We didn't feel we are performing outside Bengal or may be here it was something more special," the director of yet unreleased Open Tee Bioscope said and music director of award winning Antoheen said after a performance at 'Ruchi Realty Bangamela 2014.

This was the sixth visit of Chandrabindoo to the 'States'.

Popular band Bhoomi spearhead Surojit Chatterjee, who avers the Bengali community in US loves to be updated about latest chartbusters, will croon from his Surojit O Bondhura albums besides the nostalgia-hued 'Baranday Roddur' at the meet organised by Mid America Bengali Association.

"Autograph' man Anupam Roy will belt out charbusters 'Amake Amar Mato' and 'Ekbar Bol Nei' from 'Baishe Srabon' in his second performance in the 'Gold digger land' after 2011 at the three-day event.

"The event is also being held to foster an environment of reciprocal cultural exchanges with the people of North America," Paromita Ghosh said on behalf of the associate organisers in Kolkata.
