Punjab and Haryana experienced a slight relief from cold conditions as minimum temperatures in most parts of the two states today settled several notches above the season's average.
Union Territory of Chandigarh recorded its low at 11.2 deg C, five notches above normal, a MeT department report said.
In Haryana, minimum temperatures in Ambala and Hisar settled at 11.9 deg C and 12.8 deg C, respectively, up to six notches above normal.

In Punjab, Amritsar's minimum was 10.8 deg C, six degrees above normal, while minimum in Ludhiana and Patiala were 10.8 deg C and 11.5 deg C.
