: A start-up hub was inaugurated here Thursday by Slovakia in association with Indian Chamber of Commerce to strengthen the ecosystem of the Central European country and India.
The hub is an interactive platform to facilitate learning, development and funding new businesses.
"We are happy to collaborate with the Indian Chamber of Commerce...This Slovakian start-up hub will aim at bringing in new, unique and innovative ideas," Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovakia Republic to India Ivan Lancaric said after inaugurating the hub.
"We are proud to support the 'Make in India' initiative by encouraging investments in India," he said.
A two-day Slovakia Hub Innovation Summit was also inaugurated by Lancaric to enable stakeholders deliberate on economic, industrial, educational and social development.
Besides, the summit offers opportunities for financial facilitation, guidance and assistance to entrepreneurs.
President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, which is a trade body, Rakesh Taurani said, "The importance and large-scale nature of the summit is bringing the business community closer."
"This summit is the latest example of how we are working together towards the increasingly digital world and the remarkable entrepreneurial skills of our people to promote economic prosperity," he said.
