Smart cards would be issued to students of schools containing their details of education soon, School education minister K Sengottiyan said here today.
Already coaching classes for preparing them for competitive examinations have been started in many schools, he said.
A seven member panel has been formed by the education department to prepare a new syllabus for schools, he said.
