Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said today that tablet workshop and smart classes would be started for students in government schools of the state.
"To begin with, a pilot project would be started in 30 schools of Gurugram and Rewari districts from the next academic session," he said here.
Sharma said the state government was making persistent efforts to enhance the learning levels of students.
He said the Hero group of companies would bear the entire expenditure of the pilot project under the corporate social responsibility programme.
The school education department has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with them in this regard, he said.

He said the tablet workshop and smart classes would not only help in improving the communication skills of students but also help them to have good command over English language.
Sharma said career consultation for students of higher and senior secondary schools would also be started through this project.
The teachers would be imparted special training for this project, he added.
