The Smart India Hackathon 2017 was inaugurated at the Noida JSS Academy here, alongside several other centers across the country, by Union Minister Prakash Javadekar.
Nearly 500 students from around 60 teams are participating in the Hackathon at this centre, Yogendra Singhof JSS Academy of Technical Education said.
"The event was inaugurated by Union Minister for HRD Prakash Javadekar from Mumbai centre. It was inaugurated at all the 26 centres in the country. JSS academy is one of the nodal centres," he said.

The programme was chaired by K Kamal, Principal, JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida.
The event will culminate with prize distribution ceremony on April 2 at 8.30 PM.
