"The Building Permission System will be put online shortly," Housing and Urban Development minister Nasir Aslam Wani said while reviewing the modalities for this plan at a high level meeting here yesterday.
The minister said use of information and technology will go a long way in proper monitoring of the functioning of various departments under Housing and Urban Development, besides bringing transparency and accountability.
Under the online building permission system, applicants will have to register their cases under single window and all the departments will provide their no-objection-certificates online.
