Minutes before its departure from Howrah station today, smoke was noticed in the generator car of the New Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express.
Eastern Railway officials said they replaced the generator car of the 12301 Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express after they noticed the smoke.
The incident led to delay in departure of the train by a few minutes, the officials said.
