Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani today praised the personnel of paramilitary CISF, especially women, for ensuring a sense of safety at various public places like Delhi Metro and airports.
Irani, who was officiating as the chief guest of an event held by the forces' wives welfare association here, urged the women working in the force and wives and other family members of the male personnel to try and achieve the best in their lives.
"When the man of the house faces challenges, it is his wife or the woman in the house which steers him through. I am proud to see that you are doing this job smartly both at work and at home," Irani said.

She lauded the association, called 'Sanrakshika', for undertaking welfare measures and initiatives for the men and women of the over 1.
41-lakh personnel of the paramilitary deployed across the country to secure vital installations in the public and private domain.
During the event, she released a theme song prepared for the wives welfare association and inaugurated a waste management plant at the forces' 5th battalion camp here.
'Sanrakshika' President and wife of CISF chief Arvind Ranjan, Shubha Ranjan, said the association will undertake new and smart programmes in order to ensure vocational and employment-oriented skills to the force personnel and their families.
