Veteran Delhi golfer Smriti Mehra pulled off a stunning final round of four-under 68 to win the eighth leg of the INR 5,00,000 Hero-KGA Pro Golf Championships 2013 at the picturesque KGA golf course here today.
Smriti, who finished with a total score of 217 (79, 70, 68), stunned overnight leader Ankita Tiwana to bag the winner's cheque.
Ankita had to settle for the runner's up position trailing Smriti by one stroke. Vani Kapoor finished at the third position carding 219 (72, 74, 73) at the end of the final round.

Her winning margin over Ankita would have been bigger had she not faultered on the 18th hole with a double bogey.
Ankita had a sweet start with a birdie on the 1st hole but she could not hold on to her start faltering with a bogey on the 3rd hole.
She finished with another birdie on the 4th hole and a double bogey on the 16th hole.
Vani final round consisted of bogeys on the 1st and 6th holes and a single birdie on the 2nd hole.
Chandigarh's Saaniya Sharma finished at the fourth place with a total score of 224 (79, 70, 75), while Kolkata golfer Neha Tripathi finished at the sixth position with a total score of 225 (78, 73, 74).
The Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour 2013 now moves to the Clover Greens Golf Course for the 9th leg.
