A snag in one of the Jet Airways aircraft forced the airline to cancel its recovery flight to fly some of the stranded passengers from Amsterdam to Mumbai today.
The airline had earlier announced to fly three flights, one each to Mumbai, Delhi and Toronto from Amsterdam today to fly its passengers, who were stuck at in Brussels due to the deadly terror attack on the airport and metro station in the Belgian capital on Tuesday.
"Due to a technical issue with one of the aircraft, Jet Airways has combined its flights from Amsterdam to Mumbai and Delhi. The airline is now operating a single flight which will fly from Amsterdam to Delhi and then proceed onward to Mumbai," the airline said in a late evening statement.
