Two persons died of snake bite today in two villages here, police said.
58-year-old Hira Lal of Kakharia (Kakwa) village under Amethi police station and 35-year-old Raj Narayan of Pure Meharban (Tejgarh) village under Musafirkhana police station died of snake bite, police said.
The two were bit by snakes in their respective fields today.

Police said the two died while being take to hospitals.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem, they added.
