The CPI(M) state secretariat asked its units across the state to organise rallies tomorrow to express solidarity with the Palestinian people.

In a statement here, the party asked the UPA government to uphold the nation's anti-imperialist position and call upon the international community to intervene to halt the Israeli assault.

The party sought to know why the Congress and its ally Indian Union Muslim League were remaining silent over the West Asia development.

The CPI(M) would organise meetings across the state tomorrow, pledging solidarity with the Palestinian people, the party communique said.
