Snapdeal achieves milestone of 1,000 sellers over Rs 1 cr sale

Online marketplace Snapdeal today said it has achieved the milestone of 1000 sellers on its plarform getting sales of over Rs 1 crore annually.

Besides, the city-based firm also announced the launch that sellers looking to start selling products online can now list their products on Snapdeal and start selling them to the over 25 million members across more than 5000 towns and cities in 4 hours.

The initiative by the company is an endeavour towards further enhancing the seller experience on the site. The company has further enhanced its technology and processes to reduce the time taken to onboard a seller to just 4 hours, it said in a release.
 

It is also aligned with the firm's goal of targeting 100,000 sellers in the next 12 months, up from its current over 30,000 seller base, Snapdeal added.

ACK appoints Sanjay Dhar President (Corporate Solutions Group) * Amar Chitra Katha (ACK) has appointed Sanjay Dhar as the President of its Corporate Solutions Group.

Dhar will drive the new value added brand solutions initiatives at ACK.

This will combine creative resource, content capabilities and existing media properties like Amar Chitra Katha, Tinkle, National Geographic Magazine and National Geographic Traveller India and using all media verticals which would include print, digital, TV, and on-ground activation.
