Snehal Mane continued her good run in Mauritius as she toppled top-seeded Julia Vulpio of the Dominican Republic 6-2, 6-1 to enter the semifinals of the Mauritius Open ITF junior Championships.

The Maharashtra player, a member of the state association MSLTA's Vision Programme and ranked fifth in the tournament, took one hour and 20 minutes to record her second win over Vulpio in two weeks, a media release said today.

However, her journey in the doubles was cut short as she and Mili Hartig of South Africa were upset in the quarter finals.

The Mauritian pair of Amelie Boy and Zara Lennon upset the Indo-South Africa second seeds 6-2 3-6 [10-8].

Snehal had won the singles title in the Petit Camp Cup Under 18 Grade 4 ITF championships last week in the same country.
