Soaring humidity levels bring discomfort to Delhi residents

A day after widespread rains brought some respite from sultry weather conditions, Delhi residents today grappled with high humidity levels.

According to MeT department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.3 degree Celsius, one notch above normal, while minimum was registered at 27 degree Celsius.

Humidity levels oscillated between 91 and 57 per cent during the day, the weatherman said, adding no rain was reported in the city till 5.30 PM.

"It will be a generally cloudy day tomorrow. Light rainfall or thundershowers may occur in some areas," the MeT official said.

The maximum temperature tomorrow is expected to settle around 36 degrees Celsius.
 

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was 35.3 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature had been recorded two notches higher than normal at 29.1 degrees Celsius.
