Advocate Mir of Reasi district and his supporters joined the PDP in the presence of former Chief Minister and party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Mir said he had decided to join PDP as its policies and programmes were aimed at improving the lot of all sections of society.
Sayeed welcomed Mir and his supporters into the party-fold.
