Social orgainsations donate Rs 10 lakh for U'khand victims

Eminent social and cultural organisations of the national capital today donated Rs 10 lakh in Chief Minister's relief fund for Uttarakhand flood victims.

Tranport Minister Ramakant Goswami along with office bearers of the organisations handed over a cheque to Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

"The amount is meant for relief measures in Uttarakhand," a statement said.

Goswami said All India Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha, All India Sanskrit Sammelan and Durga Mata Mandir, Rajinder Nagar have contributed Rs two lakh each.
