Societe Generale appoints Collin as country head

Leading European financial services groups Societe Generale today announced the appointment of Evelyne Collin as chief executive and country officer in India.

In her new position, Collin will oversee the development of Societe Generale in the country, the company said in a release here.

Based in Mumbai, Collin will report to Pascal Lambert, group country head, Singapore and head of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, Southeast Asia, it added.

Societe Generale is well placed to support Indian clients who want to capture the growth opportunities in the country with its expertise in varied products. At the same time, the bank will also continue to focus on large international Indian groups doing business in Europe, China and Africa, it said.
