IT company SoftAge Information Technology today said it will diversify its business into the healthcare sector in an agreement with Ravi Jaipuria Group.
"Though traditionally IT and ITes has been our forte, we believed this to be an opportune moment to diversify into healthcare," SoftAge Group Managing Director Ozair Yasin said in a statement.
SoftAge has signed a pact with the RJ Group to set up 100 sample gathering centers for RJ-owned Diagno Labs across India within a span of 12 months and aims to hire about 1,200 people.

"In the coming three years, we are confident to touch at least over a 100 lab locations and a network of over 10,000 collection centers.
"On the corporate front, we will have a client base of over 300 and hope to forge small hospital tie-ups in small towns," Diagno Labs MD Sanjoy Mukerji added.
