Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday said solving education related problems involves resolving problems in society through education.
"When we talk about education, there are two things that come to my mind. First, we have to fix the problem of education and second, we have to fix the problems of the society through education," Sisodia said at "Educarnival- 11th International Conference" at IIT Delhi.
"It is high time we give up wishful thinking and start focussing on real issues of education. That is what we did when we introduced Happiness Curriculum. We did not teach moral lessons to students. We are trying to bring about a positive change instead in the emotional wellbeing of our students," he added.
