Union Minister Uma Bharti today said some states are trying to create water dispute although she asserted that Uttar Pradesh would get its share of water.
"Some states are trying to create water dispute (but) UP would get its share of water," Bharti, who made surprise inspection at some famous Yamuna ghats here, said without taking any names.
"The state (UP) would not be allowed to suffer and if needed, its share would be given from the Central pool," she said.

"However, it is not only the responsibility of Union government. The state government should also share the responsibility," she said.
Appealing public to take part in cleaning of Yamuna, Bharti said, "Yamuna can not be made clean without proper participation of public."
She attributed the polluted condition of Yamuna for improper monitoring of earlier schemes started by previous governments.
Saying development can not be properly defined unless heritage is protected, Bharti said "cleaning of Ganga and Yamuna is in the agenda of the Union government.
Bharti made surprise inspection of Yamuna at Vishram Ghat, Swami Ghat and Gau Ghat in Mathura and K C Ghat in Vrindaban.
