The Madras High Court bench today observed that some television serials and films are "polluting the mind and attitude of the people".
Justice Kirubakaran made the observation while hearing the bail plea of two men, accused of raping a 60-year-old mentally challenged woman in 2016.
The judge said that sexual crimes against women had increased of late and that sufficient action was not being taken to prevent them.
