A man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his father in Palda village here, police said today.
55-year-old Iqbal Qureshi, a caretaker of a mosque and also a trader was shot dead on April 22 when he was sleeping in his house here at Palda village, police said.
"During investigation, son of the deceased, Naushad confessed to have committed the crime following which he was arrested yesterday," police said.
