"If Guruji (as Soren is known) says that a power-sharing formula was struck with the BJP, it must have been done. So, there is no need for any other JMM leader to comment on what the party president (already) said," Hemant Soren told reporters here.
Hemant was replying to a query on his father's assertion last week in Dumka that there had been an agreement between the JMM and the BJP that both the parties would share power 28 months each.
It was the seventh time that Soren had claimed the '28-month-each-side ruling pact' after BJP, JMM, JDU and Ajsu stitched the alliance on September 11, 2010. Soren had backtracked on all previous claims.
This was the first time that Hemant stood by Shibu's claim.
Munda had yesterday said in Simdega that the process of development should be on the fast-track "irrespective of whichever government" was in power because Jharkhand had already lagged behind other states.
