Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who has done her second special dance number in an upcoming film, says she hopes to become "queen of item songs" in Bollywood.
Sonakshi has done a special number in director Sajid Khan's film 'Himmatwala'. The song, 'Thank God Its Friday', is a take on the disco culture of the 80's.
The 'Dabangg' actor did an item number alongside noted choreographer Prabhu Deva in Akshay Kumar's film 'Oh My God' which released last year.
Asked if she is looking to become the next item queen, Sonakshi said, "I hope to become one. I like dancing and music. If some good song comes my way I will do it. Both songs in 'Oh My God' and 'Himmatwala' are different."
The latest song reminds people of actresses Parveen Babi and Sridevi. "We have been inspired by what Parveen Babi wore in 'Shaan' and Sridevi's looks in 'Chaalbaaz'," she said.
Sonakshi is also seen doing Michael Jackson's famous moonwalk step in the retro song. "As a child, I used to see Michael Jackson's videos...I used to imitate him."

"For us Sonakashi was the first and only choice for the song. If she had not agreed we would not have done it," Sajid said.
Sonakshi performed live on a special disco song at a lounge in suburban Bandra tonight. Even Sajid shook his leg on the song.
Though the film's music is being done by Sajid-Wajid, the music for this particular song, sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, has been reportedly composed by Sachin-Jigar.
'Himmatwala', featuring Ajay Devgan and Tamannaah in the lead roles, will hit cinema screens on March 29.
