Sonata Software net profit jumps 65 pc at Rs 36 cr in Q3 FY15

Sonata Software, an IT consulting and software services provider, today posted 65 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 35.71 crore for the quarter ended December 2014 as against Rs 21.62 crore in the same period last year.

The company's revenue also jumped by 21 per cent at Rs 467 crore in the December quarter, a company statement said here.

The company's international IT services reported new record across all metrics. Its revenue jumped by 22 per cent at Rs 156 crore and profit after tax by 65 per cent at Rs 29 crore. The company has added one new customer in the December quarter, the release said.
 

Speaking on the results Srikar Reddy, Managing Director & CEO said, "We scaled up our engagements with strategic customers across ISV, retail and travel segments. Helping in their digital information in the areas of omni-channel commerce, mobility, social and analytics.

"The core drivers of our performance thus continued to get strengthened. The value we bring with our services based on focus industries, technologies and deeper customer commitment continues to drive our financial performance in Q3 FY 15.
