Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today inaugurated the 1st All Assam Inter-school Basketball Championship 2018 here this evening
Sonowal said sports is the tool through which health and mind can be developed and which will also lead to physical and mental fitness.
Interacting with the players the chief minister said that sports teaches players to live a disciplined life that goes a long way in helping the students to reach their destinations.
Sonowal said his working was working to make Guwahati the sports capital of the country.
The championship is being organised by the All Assam Basketball Association.
