Cases were today registered against two men under Senior Citizen Protection Act, 2007,for allegedly detaining their 70-year-old mother and threatening her to transfer the house which was in her name, to them.
Police said the two had been harassing their mother to transfer the house to them after their father died three months ago.
They detained their mother in the house, took her gold chain by force and threatened her to transfer the house in their name, police said.
On a complaint to the Chief Minister's cell,cases were registered against the two sons, police said.
