Ahluwalia, who is a Los Angeles based orthopaedic surgeon, has reportedly treated celebrities like Salman Khan, Shakira and Tiger Woods.

"All Is Well" is the Indian version of American TV show "The Doctors" and it will air on Colors.

"I am happy that I have got the opportunity to do something like this. I wanted to connect with the masses with this show and so I have made an effort to make it an interactive one. We have real patients and doctors coming on the show to discuss health issues.

"I want the audience to connect emotionally with the show but also find it entertaining at the same time. My show will not cure diseases but will create awareness to avoid them. It is all about educating people how to prevent illness," Ahluwalia said.

The surgeon has also managed to rope in some B-town celebrities to appear on his show.

"I have Salman and Sania Mirza who appear on the show but didn't rope in more stars as wanted it to be a non-celeb show. But I am thankful that they came in and shared their health issues," he added.

Ahluwalia, who is a Harvard University pass out, also said that this show isn't meant to earn profit or garner TRP's but to educate and make people aware of diseases around.

Pooja Batra and Ahluwalia ended their eight-year-old marriage last year. It is said that Batra's frequent trips to India and her high-decibel lifestyle was the reason of their split. PTI AYM
