An official release here said audio rights for the film, the music for which has been scored by 'maestro' Ilayaraja, has been sold for more than the 2010 blockbuster, 'Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya' (VTV) directed by Menon. But it did not mention the amount.

However, sources close to the film unit said Sony Music had acquired the audio rights for Rs two crore, while VTV, with musical score by A R Rahman which were chartbusters and remade into Hindi as "Ek Deewana Tha", had fetched Rs 1.50 crore.

"Neethane Enn Ponvasantham," yet another offering from the critically acclaimed filmmaker, stars Jiiva and Samantha in the lead and has already created a buzz among movie buffs.
