"The party has entrusted the decision to Guruji (Soren) to decide JMM's choice of candidate for the presidential candidate," JMM Vice-President Sudhir Mahato told PTI after a party meeting.
AJSU Vice-President Praveen Prabhakar, who had said the party would decide on the matter within a couple of days, today said a decision would be taken next month.
Mukherjee had on June 20 called up both Soren and AJSU President Sudesh Mahto, also the deputy chief minister of Jharkhand, and sought their support.
