A spokesman said a university in South Africa is being evacuated and the campus shut indefinitely after protesting students torched buildings, destroying the administration building.
North-West University spokesman Koos Degenaar said today that an administration block that included a science center was burned down last night. Student protesters also burned the residence of a dormitory supervisor.
Degenaar said the university in South Africa's North West province would be shut indefinitely and students still in dorms were being evacuated.
