South Korean ministry show interest in projects in Telangana

South Korea's Ministry of Environment today evinced interest in participating in construction of sewage treatment plants in Telangana, among other projects.

Gee-Seok Jeon, General Director of Environmental Energy Department, Korean Environment Corporation (KECO) and his colleague called on Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao here.

They told CM that they would like to participate in projects of Telangana state like construction of sewage treatment plants, water grid connecting system and solar power plants, an official release said.

"The Chief Minister said that he would examine and consider their request. He suggested that they should be in touch with his office to take forward the proposals," it said.
 

KECO is an affiliated agency under Korea's Ministry of Environment, the release added.
